Cotton prices peak to 11-year high in PAK

KARACHI: Cotton costs in Islamic Republic of Pakistan pushed to associate 11-year high weekday owing to a decline in production.

Cotton listed at Rs12,000/maund, whereas its spot rate emotional up to Rs11,700/maund, urban center Cotton Brokers Forum chair Naseem Usman was quoted as oral communication by The News.

This is the best worth within the history of cotton interchange Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

An increase of Rs400 was recorded within the spot rate. Usman cited production shortfalls as a reason for the worth increase.
