Pakistan Super League season six postponed due to coronavirus

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Thursday that three more players playing of two different Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams have tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed three more players from two different teams have tested positive for COVID-19 and they will now self-isolate for 10 days,” said a statement issued today.

The press release said that the three players were not part of the teams that featured in Wednesday’s PSL double-header.

Season 6 postponed due to negligence and irresponsibility of PSL management
Appropriate measures were not taken to protect the players and officials from Corona
The wedding ceremonies continued at the hotel where the PSL players and officials were staying
People with PSL players were seen coming and going in the hotel elevator
The PSL management did not inform the players about the SOPs, nor did it take any action
