PML-N’s Pervaiz Rashid declared ‘ineligible’ for Senate polls

LAHORE: Associate in Nursing election assembly of the city court (LHC) has turned down the charm of West Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Rashid against the rejection of his nomination papers for Senate election.

Justice Shahid Waheed issued the decision once the arguments within the case had finished. throughout today’s hearing, Rashid’s professional same that the Ro had rejected his client’s papers speech that the previous data minister was a defaulter of the Punjab House.

“Lawyers say it may be appealed, however i’m not convinced. i’ll not move to hunt justice for myself,” he said, adding that he was expecting the assembly to direct him to pay the dues in today’s finding instead of his disqualification.

The PML-N leader claimed that Punjab House management refused to require payment from him once he went there to pay the dues. Last week, the PML-N leader challenged the ECP’s call to reject his nomination papers for the approaching Senate election.

In his charm, Rashid expressed that the official of the ECP “unlawfully rejected the nomination papers,” adding that he was able to deposit Rs9.5 million to the administration of the Punjab House.

The Punjab government had discharged a listing of individuals in 2018 WHO had not cleared their bills for staying and taking meals at the Punjab House. Rashid was among people who were named within the list.
