Shah Hussain, who stabbed and injured a student, was released from jail on completion of his sentence

Her classmate Shah Hussain, who stabbed law student Khadija Siddiqui, was released from Lahore jail on completion of her sentence.
Law student Shah Hussain was charged with assaulting classmate Khadija Siddiqui on May 3, 2016.
According to the FIR, Khadija went to pick up her younger sister from a school near Shimla Hill. On Davis Road, Shah Hussain attacked her with knives and severely injured her with 23 blows.
Upon completion of the trial, Shah Hussain was sentenced by the Judicial Magistrate on July 29, 2017 to 7 years in prison.
In the appeal, the Sessions Court reduced the sentence of Shah Hussain from 2 years to 5 years, while in June 2018, the Lahore High Court commuted the sentence and acquitted Shah Hussain. Restored
Upon completion of his sentence, Shah Hussain has been released from Lahore Jail.
