The price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5.40 per liter

The federal government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 5.40 per liter.
A statement issued by Shahbaz Gul, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, apprised of the rise in prices of petroleum products.
Shahbaz Gul said that the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5.40 per liter while the price of diesel has been increased by Rs 2.54 per liter.
He said that an increase of Rs. 39 paise per liter has been approved in the price of kerosene while the price of light diesel has been increased by Rs. 27 paise per liter.
The Special Assistant said that OGRA had proposed an increase of Rs 11.40 per liter in the price of petrol. Contrary to the recommendations of OGRA, the Prime Minister decided to provide maximum relief to the people.
